Bike Run and Bike Night

Classic Super Bikes was involved in two exciting events recently: the Fleet Lions 29th annual Classic Motorcycle Run, and our very own monthly Bike Night at The Emporium

The Run was held on the May bank holiday Monday, in Fleet, and boasted an impressive turnout considering the grey clouds and relentless drizzle!

The Classic Super Bikes team took three 90cc Honda C200s (1964, 1965 and 1967) and a 50cc Honda C114 from 1963.
Having set up camp, we then took a wander around the other bikes (and the tea, coffee and bacon rolls stand!) before setting off...for about five minutes, until Chris had to swap bikes halfway down Fleet high street!
The first stretch went deceptively well, and at the halfway pub Chris helped to present the Landlady's Choice award - which went to a lovely Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mark 2. Some more chatting and perusing later there was just enough time for a group photo,
before getting started on the second leg. This one went...not so well, with about three or four "break(down)s" and one rescue!
However, we (eventually) got back to Fleet in time for the rest of the awards, and the sun even decided to make an appearance! Right at the end...typical! All in all though, I think it's fair to say that a good time was had by all!

The next week it was time for May's Bike Night at The Emporium pub in Fleet. Run every third Tuesday of the month, the Bike Night is open to anyone and everyone with a passion for bikes (and beer!). Bikes of all ages, colours, models etc. turn up, and it's a great chance to meet like-minded people and have a chat about what's turned up.
Amongst these was a good-looking American Softail Custom!
Just a reminder that the next Bike Night is on Tuesday 19th June, Emporium as always, from 7pm onwards - see you there!
