NEW IN!

The two most recent additions to CSB's stock came in at the end of August.

First off, we have a lovely 1965 Triumph TR6 Trophy. This bike has just been excellently restored by 'Hoppybikes', and is all ready to run! Extremely attractive, and with several convenient upgrades, this stunning bike is being offered at £7,750. Unfortunately we're having some minor technical difficulties with the official Classic Super Bikes website, but once these are fixed there will be more details and pictures up over there!

The second newcomer is a BMW R100 from 1982. Originally an RT model, it has since been converted to the more attractive and desirable RS spec, and most recently has been improved here and there via Dream Machine paintwork, and engine work by Scriminger Engineering. On at £2,000, it can be found at the website here.

Keep an eye on this blog, and our Facebook page, for more info on new bikes and CSB events! Talking of which, the next Bike & Car Night (yes, we have officially joined forces!) at the Emporium Pub in Fleet is next Tuesday, September 4th - 7pm onwards. We'll see you there!

Bike Nights in July and August!

Unfortunately, Classic Super Bikes won't be able to attend July's Bike Night, due to a holiday.

However, the night will go ahead as usual - at The Emporium on Fleet High Street, 7pm onwards!

In addition, we have been invited to join forces with the Emporium's Car Night, which takes place every first Tuesday of the month. So in August there will be a Car & Bike Night on Tuesday 7th August, and the usual Bike Night - complete with Classic Super Bikes - on Tuesday 21st August.

Basically, here are the dates for your diary!
Tuesday July 17th: Bike Night
Tuesday August 7th: Car & Bike Night
Tuesday August 21st: Bike Night

As always, everyone is welcome to come down for a chat, snoop, and a drink - the pub also serves great food until 9pm!

Also keep an eye on the website for any new bikes coming in, and like our Facebook page

Bike Run and Bike Night

Classic Super Bikes was involved in two exciting events recently: the Fleet Lions 29th annual Classic Motorcycle Run, and our very own monthly Bike Night at The Emporium

The Run was held on the May bank holiday Monday, in Fleet, and boasted an impressive turnout considering the grey clouds and relentless drizzle!

The Classic Super Bikes team took three 90cc Honda C200s (1964, 1965 and 1967) and a 50cc Honda C114 from 1963.
Having set up camp, we then took a wander around the other bikes (and the tea, coffee and bacon rolls stand!) before setting off...for about five minutes, until Chris had to swap bikes halfway down Fleet high street!
The first stretch went deceptively well, and at the halfway pub Chris helped to present the Landlady's Choice award - which went to a lovely Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mark 2. Some more chatting and perusing later there was just enough time for a group photo,
before getting started on the second leg. This one went...not so well, with about three or four "break(down)s" and one rescue!
However, we (eventually) got back to Fleet in time for the rest of the awards, and the sun even decided to make an appearance! Right at the end...typical! All in all though, I think it's fair to say that a good time was had by all!

The next week it was time for May's Bike Night at The Emporium pub in Fleet. Run every third Tuesday of the month, the Bike Night is open to anyone and everyone with a passion for bikes (and beer!). Bikes of all ages, colours, models etc. turn up, and it's a great chance to meet like-minded people and have a chat about what's turned up.
Amongst these was a good-looking American Softail Custom!
Just a reminder that the next Bike Night is on Tuesday 19th June, Emporium as always, from 7pm onwards - see you there!

NEW IN: 1949 Vincent Comet

Just in, a 1949 Vincent Comet, in great condition. Over the last few years it has undergone a significant amount of high quality restorative work, and covered little mileage since. The suspension has been completely rebuilt and the brakes upgraded. It comes with a history file bursting with documents, as well as having had the number plate transferred and replaced with a great period number - 965 FFC - valued at over £2,000!
You can view the bike on the Classic Super Bikes website here

Classic Super Bikes monthly Bike Night @ The Emporium, Fleet!

On the third Tuesday of every month, Classic Super Bikes holds a Bike Night at The Emporium pub on Fleet high street. Started last year, it has struggled through the winter weather and is now ready to embrace the sun and longer evenings.
All bikes and bikers are welcome: old and young, fast and slow, big and small! The Emporium is a large pub in Fleet town centre and the big car park is reserved for motorcycles on these evenings!
It starts at approximately 7pm (or whenever everyone turns up!), there are bikes to look at, people to chat to and beer (or something softer for the designated drivers) to drink! Some even stay for dinner as the pub serves grub until 9pm.
Dates for the rest of 2012 are below, so pop in for a quick look or dinner and a chat! Also see below for a few pics of previous Bike Nights!
